# MailerLite integration

> Send new partners to a MailerLite subscriber group automatically

Connect MailerLite so every new partner is added to a subscriber group, ready for your onboarding emails and
newsletters.

<Note>
  This integration sends **partners** to MailerLite. It does not sync referred customers. If you run a
  newsletter referral program and want to connect subscribers instead, see
  [Connect MailerLite to your newsletter referral program](/knowledge-base/newsletter-referral-programs/connect-mailerlite-to-your-newsletter-referral-program).
</Note>

## Step 1: Connect MailerLite

1. Go to **Integration** under **Program** and scroll to **Third-party integrations**.
2. Click **Connect** next to MailerLite.
3. Enter your MailerLite API key — see
   [where to find it](https://www.mailerlite.com/help/where-to-find-the-mailerlite-api-key-groupid-and-documentation).
4. Click **Connect**.

## Step 2: Choose what to send

Once connected, click **Manage**. Four options are available:

| Option | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Group** | The MailerLite subscriber group new partners are added to |
| **Approved partners only** | Skips partners still awaiting approval |
| **Partners with marketing permissions only** | Only sends partners who opted in to marketing |
| **Partner data synchronization** | Keeps partner details up to date in MailerLite after the first send |

Click **Save**.

## Troubleshooting

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Partners are not arriving in MailerLite">
    Open **Manage** and confirm a group is selected — the connection can be made without one chosen, in which
    case Partnero has nowhere to send partners.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Only some partners are being sent">
    That is usually one of the two filters. With **approved partners only** enabled, pending partners are held
    back until you approve them; with **marketing permissions only** enabled, partners who did not opt in are
    never sent.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The API key is rejected">
    MailerLite issues keys per account, not per group. Check you copied the whole key and that it has not been
    revoked in MailerLite.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>
