# Wise integration

> Pay your partners through Wise, manually or on a schedule

Connect Wise to send partner payouts from a currency balance in your Wise business account, either on demand or
automatically on a schedule you set.

## Step 1: Connect Wise

1. Open the program you want to work with.
2. Go to **Integration** under **Program** and scroll to **Third-party integrations**.
3. Click **Connect** next to Wise.
4. Enter your Wise API key, which Wise calls a personal token — see
   [Wise's personal tokens documentation](https://docs.wise.com/api-docs/features/authentication-access/personal-tokens).
5. Click **Connect**.

## Step 2: Choose the funding balance

Once the accounts are connected, click **Manage**, choose the currency balance in your Wise account that should
fund the transfers, and click **Save**.

Partnero also registers two webhooks with Wise when you connect, so it learns when a transfer changes state or
fails. You do not configure these yourself.

## Step 3: Automate payouts (optional)

With Wise connected you can let Partnero pay partners on a schedule instead of approving each run by hand. The
schedule is configured per program and covers:

| Setting | What it controls |
| - | - |
| **Frequency** | Every so many days, weekly, monthly, or on chosen days of the month |
| **Minimum amount** | Partners below this balance are skipped until they reach it |
| **Maximum amount** | An upper bound per payout |
| **Reattempt unsuccessful payouts** | Retries payouts that failed, rather than leaving them |

Automated payouts require accepting both Partnero's and Wise's terms before they can be switched on. For the

## Paying partners

Partners need bank details on their profile before they can be paid, and what Wise requires varies by country.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="Transfers fail with insufficient funds">
    Payouts draw on the specific currency balance you selected under **Manage**, not your whole Wise account.
    Top up that balance, or select a different one.

  <Accordion title="Payouts fail for individual partners">
    Wise validates recipient details per country, so a partner missing a field their country requires will
    fail while others succeed. Open the partner profile and check their payout details.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Scheduled payouts are not running">
    Confirm automated payouts are enabled and both terms of service have been accepted — the schedule will not
    start until they are. Also check whether partners are falling under your minimum amount.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="A payout shows as sent but the partner has not received it">
    Partnero reflects the state Wise reports. Check the transfer in your Wise account, as Wise may be holding
    it for verification.
