  • Partner: Someone who promotes your product and earns commissions
  • Referral key: A unique identifier used in referral links (stored in partnero_partner cookie)
  • Commission: The reward a partner earns when their referred customer makes a purchase
  • Tags: Labels for organizing and filtering partners

Partner lifecycle

  1. Created—partner signs up or is created via API.
  2. Active—partner shares referral links and earns commissions.
  3. Archived—temporarily deactivated (reversible).
  4. Deleted—permanently removed (irreversible).
